SCO ARCserve/Open from Cheyenne Release 2.2.0k for SCO UnixWare 2.1.1 -2.1.3
Date posted: 15-OCT-99
Description: This SLS corrects all currently-known Year 2000 problems with SCO ARCserve/Open 2.2.0 on SCO UnixWare 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 7.0.0 and 7.0.1.
Problems Addressed ------------------ 1. Reports generated using the Report Manager GUI report all Y2K dates incorrectly. When a report is generated, dates that are year 2000 or greater are incorrectly displayed as: 100 (year 2000), 101 (year 2001), 102 (year 2002), and so on. Depending on the version of the operating system on which SCO ARCserve/Open is being run, the year 2000 may also be displayed as a two-digit number of 69 or greater. The correct format for the dates should be 00 (year 2000), 01 (Year 2001), 02 (Year 2002), and so on. 2. Output from as_qmgr (command line) reports Y2K dates incorrectly. When you run as_qmgr to list the jobs in the queue or to change the date in which a job will run, year 2000 or greater dates are displayed incorrectly. They are displayed as described in problem #1 above. 3. Autopilot labels tape incorrectly when year is 2000 or greater. When autopilot labels a tape it includes the current date as part of the label name. When the year is 2000 or greater the date used on the label is incorrect. It uses dates as described in problem #1 above. 4. Using the format tapes option in the Device Manager GUI to format a tape in a tape library displays incorrect expiration dates if the year is in the year 2000 or greater. If you are using a changer or tape library and you choose to format a tape, the default expiration date is not displayed correctly in the year 2000 or greater. This date is displayed as described in problem #1.
